Welcome!

Welcome everyone to "I'm with Ryan," the blog of my post-retirement journey back to the promised land out west. Right now I'm in the midst of finishing up work here in Boston, planning my route home, and learning how to blog. I'm accepting recommendations on all of those things. Everything here is a work in progress, so if you have ideas on how to fix or improve things, please let me know!

The map below is interactive and routes, pictures, destinations are all clickable for more information. The blue line is my probable route (subject to change), the redline is the trip so far. The Donkey is my current location.

Follow along by map!

06/27/10 - Shakedown Part II

Except for the late-night ghetto-shenanigans (which I'm told are part of the Albany experience), I had a pleasant night Chez Bachofer.  This morning we packed a basket full of snacks (and fancy cloth napkins) and headed to North Adams, MA to visit the Mass MoCA.  Though often not a fan of modern art, I was actually impressed.  There were some interesting installations and the building itself was pretty sweet (I made sure to take extra pictures of the building for reference when we build a Petterson compound.

Thanks for having me Sally!  :D
